Just read a good articel:

I just found this statement on one of our sponsors FAQ's....

FAQ's:
1) Is a 520 conversion right for everyone? -- No, if you're drag racing or doing heavy stunting, staying with a stock 525 or 530 chain (and steel rear sprocket) is probably best. A 520 conversion is for faster acceleration and gearing for more holeshot, best for the serious sport rider, track day junkie, or racer.
