Gauge display, kickstand function won't work
Hello again,
After the first day of taking my F4i out to work and back my first issue comes up. The bike performed flawlessly all day long. When I got home I took her to see the old owner and I guess she got pissed off at me since he neglected her all of these years. When I was going to leave his house I turn the key and the tach needle didn't rotate and none of the numbers or info on the gauge showed up on the display. She cranked and fired right up though. The kickstand sensor didn't shut the motor off when I put it in first and the kickstand was still down. Anyone can give me an idea on where to start looking? I am going to start at the fuse box. Let me know!

yes the kickstand killswitch worked before. This just happened in an instant. I parked the bike at his house and shut it down. Then I turned it on so that he can check it out and everything was fine. I turned it off and talked to him for an hour. When I turn it on again the gauge display was lit but no numbers or details could be seen along with the kickstand kill switch not working. All of the fuses were ok. Is there anywhere else that I can look that might be an interacting point for the display and killswitch?

I understand you Backyard and I think I will leave this to the guys at the shop. Not that I can't tackle this myself but I have been swamped with work both on and off the job. I'm pretty sure its a ground not making contact or a harness or something that I didn't plug in all the way. Its always the little things that are the most frustrating...
