I have a 93 cbr 600 and my rpm gauge do not work. Also i am have a problem with my temp gauge also. The temp gauge work sometime but i have seem it move i a while now. I believe i have some shortages but i do not know where the r located on the engine. please help.

 

invest some money into a manual. they help out alot. i cant find mine or i would upload some pics. maybe just try and follow the wires the best you can and make sure all the connections are connected.

 

If you check in the service manual (head over to general tech and look for a stickie to download one) you should be able to test the voltage going to the temp gauge to see if its the gauge or the sending unit itself.
The tach is driven off the coils I think. maybe you should look at fuses if there's a few things that aren't working. Otherwise its going to be waaay easier for you to just grab a service manual and troubleshoot it yourself.

 

also, find a wiring diagram and trace the wires using that, looking for shorts in them or poor connections along the way.
