gas gauge doesnt work

it lights up when i turn the key on but nothing after that. it came on once since i got the bike and worked then my battery died and it never came back on. any ideas?

Please search more in the future. The gas gauge only comes on to indicate that you've hit reserve levels (about one gallon of reserve gas left, and you should get gas ASAP). Where is my gas / fuel gauge? | Honda CBR 600 F4i Information
