I went for a ride yesterday and on my '02 cbr 954rr, the red light came on along with the FI sign. I was told it was something with the fuel injection and i am going to be taking it in tomarrow to get dianosed. before i do, i want some tips and pointers if anybody else has had an issue like this. one thing is, when i turn the kill switch on with the key on, you can hear the fuel pump working, after it does its thing, it sounds like the fuel injectors are clogged or giving out. it does like a clicking noise, i haven't tore into it yet. any pointers?

 

You can diagnos the problem yourself if you download the service manual from this site like i did. There is a way to bring up flashing codes using a jumper wire(paperclip). Count the number of flashes from the red light and your bike will tell you whats wrong.
