Default front directional

my front (would be drivers side in a cage) doesn't stay on it works when you use the directional on but it doesn't stay on normally just wondering what it could be cause it isn't the bulb i don't think if the directional works any help is apreciated

If you're referring to the running light it is probably a dual filament bulb. That would explain why the turn signal still works but not the running light in the same bulb.

Hi. I think RoasiJeff is correct in diagnosing the bulb as they have two filaments. One is normally 5w for 'always on' running and the other 21w for indicating. At least they are here in England! They may differ in your area. In England our bikes don't have 'always on' indicators, so only have a 21w bulb in them. Hope this is what your problem turns out to be!
