Default Frame Sliders

Im installing my new frame sliders tomorrow evening after work :-D anyway my question is how much torque goes on that bolt? The bike is an 04 F4i now my ghetto PFD shop manual for an 03 says its 1.1 lbf is that correct or is it a typo cause 1.1 lbf is like the twist of a wrist... Anyway does anyone know how tight that bolt should be?

I don't have a torgue wrench, but I put some blue (medium strength) locktite on the bolt and tightened it tight. Not over tight, but I have used a wrench enough to know when its tight enough, just remember that you are threading the bolt into aluminum and its not as strong as the bolt so if you overtighten you'll strip the motor mount. I'll look in my manual and post the exact torque if I can find it.

Ok I found it. It looks like you need to torque it to 29 ft.lbs

BTW I would recommend to use the medium strength locktite just to be sure that the new slider bolts won't loosen up over time, thats just my .02
