I need help in selecting frame sliders for my 06 CBR 1k.
What are your recommendations?

Are you planning on stunting the bike or you just using them for emergencies? If stunting use extended from sliders. I don't know what the forums policy is on links to vendors but you can check out these guys. http://www.freestyleingenuity.com/

I installed the no cuts from shogun. Took a whole 20 minutes to install. Did not require fairing removal either.

i'd recommend any derlin/platic ones...i wouldn't recommend the no cut ones as they will just snap in the event of a slide.

motovation sliders look to have the best design for no cuts. i've got lightech, which have held up well in crashes (from what i've seen), but i would have gone with the motovations had i seen them before.

I used the motovations. They are very well made, altho i haven't tested em yet !! They are a lil pricey, but i didn't want to cut the fairings, and heard about problems w/the shoguns bending very easy. I think most cut sliders are the best, but for no-cut, the motovations were the best i could find. You do have to space the fairing out just a little, which i thought was weird considering the price, but its not hard to do.
