There first job is to stop your frame going down and takin a beating in a fall, they do also minimise to a certain extent the damage that occurs to your plastics too. Helping to reduce the expensive repair costs in the event of an accident. In my opinion worth there weight in gold.

Step 1--Take your bike and knock it over while it is standing still. Note the damage.
Step 2--Install frame sliders.
Step 3--Knock your bike over on the other side.
Step 4--Sigh with relief cause you just saved yourself an ***-load of money to repair side #2!!!!!!!!
