a few questions. 92 CBR 600F2
I am not sure if this is the place to put this or not but if it is cool if not them mods please move.
I recently purchased a 92 CBR 600F2 it was a stunter that I am trying to get back to looking a bit more presentable. here it is.

my questions would be this.
*The forks are from a 94 and are adjustable. how do I adjust them to make them softer or harder. I do not wish to just start turning on them to see what happens. I already plan to rebuild them with new seals and what knot.
*what Millimeter are the 94 forks. I would like to purchase a set of clipons and I already have my mind made up on the ones that I want. but would like to know how big they are MM wise?
*The exhaust
its just hanging there.. I plan on welding the tabs back on for the rear footpeg mount for this but the places where the piping slides into each other is just using car clamp brackets like from autozone or something. got any suggestions on better more aesthetically pleasing looking clamps?
I am new to MOTO but not new to a wrench. I plan on rebuilding the entire bike and trying to make it look great again.

Looks pretty cool the way it is in streetfighter mode :-)

94 forks are identical to the 91-93 forks externally (except for the addition of a rebound adjuster on the top cap). Internally the 94 went to a true rebound dampener which is a lot nicer than the 91-93 for tuning rebound. at the top of the 94 forks you have a slot for a flathead screwdriver, and 2 flats for a 14mm box wrench. The flathead slots adjust your rebound (how fast the fork extends after being compressed), the 14mm wrench would be used to turn the adjuster to affect preload.
You can't screw anything up by turning them randomly, so don't be afraid of that - it's probably best to back both sets of adjusters completely out (counterclockwise). This will set the forks as soft as they get (compression), and as fast to rebound as they will get. From there, first set the sag/preload with the 14mm wrench - use equal numbers of turns on each leg, you want them to be matched. Once you have the stiffness of the fork where you want it on compression, then turn the rebound counterclockwise to slow down the rebound until it is where you want it.

41mm

Many aftermarket exhaust headers/midpipes don't utilize the factory midpipe mount under the frame. These typically use springs at the header to midpipe junction, and midpipe to exhaust can, and the only hardpoint mounts are the headers to the motor, and the can to the rearset mount.

lol thanks - but I'm only good as a reference here cause I swapped my 92 forks out for a set of 94's 2 weeks ago, and had to rebuild the 94's in the process. It's all fresh on my mind.
