DON'T SPIN THE CHAIN BY PUTTING IT IN GEAR. Thats the best way to loose a finger or 2. Just spin the back wheel by hand. If you don't have a rear stand it's kind of a pain, but it can be done. Just keep hoping on the bike and rolling it backwards till you got it all. Roll it back up the drive and start over lubing the chain. If your in the market for a rear stand i use a cycle cat stand. Really easy to use with one person. It will pick the bike up off the side stand and set it back down on it when done. It's a little pricey but, I consider it a tool and if your going to be riding for the rest of your life. Why use cheap *** tools all your life.
