Default fairing/windshield "buzz" cbr 600rr

I have an 08 600rr. Love the bike to death except for the buzzing noise coming from the front fairing area at 5000-5500 rpm. I haven't taken anything apart yet, but does anyone know what components in particular to check as possible culprits/fixes? This noise drives me f&%#*n crazy. Definately related to engine speed, not wind related. Thanx....

Thank you sir. This was my suspicion as well. Gonna check on the recall. I played around with the windscreen screws earlier today, repositioned the screen, and retightened everything and it changed things somewhat. Noise is still there, but comes and goes thru a narrower rpm range, and comes on and goes away quicker. Let's hope Honda can sort it for us eh?

If not, I fixed the same prob on my F3 by putting a couple dabs of silicone between the windshield and the stay. Worked great.
