Has anyone tried converting the ugly F4i seat to an RR split seat. The rear fairing would be needed, but after that is it a bolt on conversion?

 

Yes people have tried, no its not a bolt on conversion. If you have the banana seat and want a split seat set up, your best bet is to get the parts from an '01 to '03 F4i. You'll need the rear sub frame, all the plastic and both seats, and it is a direct bolt on, as long as you get the sub frame.
