Default F4i leaking oil

My 2001 F4i is leaking oil......i took of the fairings and saw that its coming from the Crankcase cover....there is also this blue like gel that i guess is the sealent...looks like a do ir yourself job? Its not a whole lot of oil and only leaks after its be running. The amount of oil on the ground after is about the size of squished coke can on the floor ....... its not puddle like...does this need to be fixed right away....im gonna be riding the bike everyday to and from school...Im guessing i should pour some new oil in every week. Im gonna punch the guy who sold me the bike in the face meanwhile

it would take 30 minutes to take off the crank case cover, clean it and put it back on... why not do that. If the leak gets worse while you're riding.... better to fix the little problem now instead of major ones later.

Yeah its a really easy job, order a gasket from the dealer in the mean time make sure you NEVER get low on oil, once you`ve got it it`s just unbolt the cover clean the 2 `faces`, reapply the new gasket and torque your bolts back up. A worthwhile job for the time.
