Take out 2 of the four spark plugs and look at what color they are. From there you can get an idea of whats going on.

Are you able to put the bike into gear but it won't pull away and stalls or does it stall when putting it into first gear? If it stalls as you engage gear it could be a faulty/broken side stand switch thinking you have the stand in the down position. Otherwise check plugs as advised. Could be fuel starvation as setting off from idle is taken care of by the pilot jets (someone will tell me if I'm mistaken!) and then the needle jet, followed by the main jet on full throttle. Try cleaning the pilot jets etc and check the float heights to make sure they are equal. Keep us posted.

The color of the plugs will tell you if the bike is running rich or lean, not whether they are new or not.

Default still have issues

ok i yanked my carbs off and they were spotless...cleaned them anyway battery was dead so i just jumped it real quick ...bike did great for 100 miles battery charged up ajd everything....she sat overnight and i rode her 30 miles today no probleme...parked it for a lil then went back to ride ajd same issue...it just bogged and cut out....battery was still strong but it fired up when i hit the choke and then i got another couple hundred yards ajd turned around and she cut out...and i cranked and cranked until i killed the battery....what could be happening....im seriously out of ideas...could i be looking at maybe a solenoid for the ram air being messed up or something? all the lines are hooled up ajd good so im just completely out of ideas besides selling the bike whoch i do not want to do :'(

sounds like electrical. loose connection somewhere. My F4I did it after a wreck and I just went through all the connections checking wires and cleaning plugs, adding di-electric grease. I still dont know what or where the issue was but after i finished the entire harness she purred like always.
