Unhappy F3 lowering linkages

Due to accident (not on bike) i need to lower the seat on my F3. Done all the seat foam mods etc. and now looking at lowering linkages. Does anyone have any advice on the flat plate, 3 hole type, and preferably a pic of how they are installed, as I really cannot see how they are supposed to work?
Any assistance gratefully recieved.

Basically, all it does is lowers the bike center of gravity for racing! Some riders do it for looks, while others riders do it because they’re to short to balance the bike flat footed on a hill at a light. It lowers the bike(depends on which one you get) 1inch in the first hole, then 3 inches in the second hole. This is the measurement I have on my “ lowering link”. As far as the flat bars that lower from what I have read they usually have 3 holes, and every hole lowers you bike 1 inch. 1st hole=1 inch,2nd hole=2 inch, and 3rd hole=inches of lowering.
