f3 hesitation/stalling
Ok, so, 2 days ago i started having this trouble where all of a sudden, my 98 f3 was hesitating and jumping while riding. I've been trying to do some investigating on here and have done some troubleshooting, but still can't seem to figure out what it is.
Basically, the bike will rev/run fine in neutral, or with the clutch in with no lode on it. Low rpms in first gear is ok too. When i try to get over about 5000 it will hesitate and jump, and sometimes stall out. I recently cleaned the carbs (about a month ago). I did the usuals, drained the carbs and all fuel lines and tank and replaced the gas. I replaced the fuel filter. I cleaned the air filter. The plugs are about 1 month old, NGK Iridium IX. I ordered some new ones, but I'm trying not to spend a fortune guessing at what it can be, so I haven't put them in yet.
I found one thread on here that I thought matched my problem perfectly. https://cbrforum.com/m_649327/tm.htm . Everyone suggested fuel pump, so I did all the pump and relay tests, and the continuity tests said the relay and pump were fine, and the pump flow rate test seemed to indicate the pump was ok too.
Can anyone PLEASE PLEASE help?

Might try re-cleaning the carbs and/or syncing/idle adjustment.
Check for a vacume leak or air leak around the boots.
While you're checking things over, also look at the r/r and it's connector.
Here's a few links, in case it is electrically related issue...

Another thing to check is that all of your hoses and tube are connected to their proper places. Make sure the Air Vent solenoid is working. It should click when you turn the ignition key on. Also, is your speedometer hooked up. The ICM reads a signal at 12 MPH to control that Air Vent solenoid.
Ok here are my symptoms and my situation. Currently none of my guages are working. Nothing on my dash works. No lights, speedo, tach, and this is in another thread. I was riding and everything cut off up front. Then my bike started jerking so i pulled over. Now that i think about it that be my problem now.... Hmm... That air vent solenoid. But after that happened my bike would not run with the choke off. It would die. So while im trying to figure all this out my bike sat for about a month. Then i pulled the carbs. Cleaned them, Checked for loose connections. Found nada. So i put the carbs in. And Wala.. purrs like a kitten.I even bought a new cluster but its doing the same thing. Its a loose connection somewhere and its such a headache with electrical i left it alone. But It starts acting strange and jerking second gear and up. Like its choking out and stalls until i pull over. Sometimes i can just pull the throttle all the way back and it catches a little but im not riding until its fixed. Not safe... I just want my bike running like she use to........
