Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas to help me out. I need to get some raw exhaust materials to build an exhaust. Does anyone know where I can get stainless steel? I have a TIG welder, so I just need to get material and get to building. If you guys have any ideas where I can buy straight and bent tubing and any other shaped stainless steel tubing, that would be a big help.

I would try paper mache...or straw.

 

Well...I know that a lot of muffler shops can stock and can bend ss tubing for custom applications. As for the thin stainless for the can, I'm not sure where your gonna get that. Try and find a production facility that used that thin of matl and see if you can buy some scrap or something...IDK.

What's in your sites? Any sketches or concepts?

In all seriousness tho, I REALLY like this exhaust, http://www.cobra-exhaust.com/Product...GSXR750_K6.htm. I have a F4i and I have removed my charcoal canister from under the bike and I am planning on building a small, 3 chamber muffler under the bike with some pipe like that coming out. So yea, I need some bent tubing and I am praying for some nice, flaired stuff to make the ends. I think that will be the hardest part tho
