Default Exhaust pops/bangs

I have a 2002 cbr600fs fitted with a pipe werx 330mm can, sounds lovely but I would love to hear it pop/bang on overrun, is there anything I can do to promote this happening, I've heard making a slight air leak on the exhaust somewhere will give me the pops/bangs. Is this true or does anyone have a better idea? Regards Russ

why would you want the backfire fire effect... only bike ive ever thought it sounded cool on was my XR650l with a supertrapp on it. But that thing made Harleys sound like children toys.

Usually that sound (as far as i know) is cause by un burnt fuel leaving the exhaust which gives you that popping sound, and sometimes flames. I dont really know how to go about deliberately causing it really.
