Default exhaust install

hey now! i'm new to the honda family and have a 93 cbr f2 and just got header back system on ebay and anxious to install, but i recall seeing the service manual that said something about needing to replace what looked like 4 small individual gaskets(1 per cylinder i guess) that said needed to be replaced w/ new ones when taking headers off. so if anyone could give a little help and tell me what i may need to slap this exhaust situation on my machine, it would be greatly appreciated. also has anyone ever used or had experience with a "flo-commander" ? it says will help w/ carb sync. was wondering before i dropped a bunch of cash. thanks again
