Default engine issues after vacuum valve rebuild

Hello . . . This is my first post and my first 93 CBR600f2. I have had the bike for a week now and it was running fine (with the exception of a leaking vacuum valve on the petcock) until I rebuilt the Cover Set, ****. The first day after the rebuild the bike seemed fine but the next morning it had a real hard time starting and idling as well there was a lot of dark smoke from the exhaust when revved. Me, being super existed to ride hopped on the bike even though it was having a hard time running and I noticed that only one or two of the cylinders seemed to be firing. The bike was running real rough so I went home and got the car ;( . I'm 99% sure I rebuilt the Cover Set the OEM way. I have read and searched all over cbrforum.com and Google with no luck on this issue. Thank you for any and all advice

Could just be a couple of fouled plugs. Pull you spark plugs and clean them good. Put them back and check again.

Yes and Thank you. I bought new plugs and replaced all four . . . Two of the four #3 and #4 were fouled with oil and it still has a hard time idling. I guess whats next to check?

Sometimes while trying to start a bike with fouled plugs, you'll get un-burned fuel in the exhaust system from those cylinders. Once you get it running correctly and that part of the exhaust gets up to operating temperature, it starts baking off that fuel. You'll notice some white smoke coming out the exhaust for a short period of time. It should clear up after a short time. If it doesn't you may need to start looking for other potential problems.
