Default Engine dies during travel

Hello,
My name is Ryan. I layed my '05 1000RR down and slid under a Jeep. Aftermath: I moved the bike from my storage unit to my apartment (across the parking lot) and the engine would just die unexpectedly. It would not start again until I cycled the engine stop switch off and then on again. The bike idles and revs just fine when parked and in neutral. I don't know if it might be the bank angle kill switch (if my bike even has one), the fact that the front rotor is warped so with every revolution of the front tire my brake piston is forced into the caliper (if there is a sensor for that sort of thing), or what?... Anybody out there ever had the same problem or know what is going on so that I can piece my bike together and enjoy this wonderful Tucson riding weather?!

your bike does have a bank angle sensor and that is probably the cause of all your problems. take off your front cowl and look for a little black box and that is your b.a.s. im not telling you to replace it right now but take it my a shop and see if they can tell you if it defective......... other than that i dont know what else it could be......

check all your obviouse things first like make sure all your plugs are tight that no wires are chaffed and that your battery terminals are tight.

I dont think its the sensor for the kickstand, that wouldnt cause the engine to die unexpectedly, it only kills it when you have it down in first gear, or if the kickstand gets dropped durring riding.

True, UNLESS the switch or wires were damaged in the accident and are malfunctioning. I'd start with the obvious things like chaffed wires, and plugs and then move onto any sensor that could effect the ignition circuit. bank angle, kickstand, etc etc
