Anyone used an engine cage on an F2/F3? Do they go on with out any cutting? How well do these protect fairings?

I have one on my 98 F3. You do have to cut several holes in the fairings to put them on. Other than that, they go on pretty easy. Lets just say that when I got the bike the only fairings that weren't completely trashed were the ones protected by the cage.

Ya, It looks like I'd have to drill 3 holes per side.
