an electrical wth...

How does this work without blowing the fuse in the car? I'm pretty good with electrical and this makes no sense to me. lol.

Wet-cell batteries are strange beasts. I'm not 100% on them either, but from teh bits of math I have here, he most likely has a bunk battery. He can charge it OK (but it will take for freaking EVER), but if he cranks the bike while hooked up to the car, it'll blow the fuse. Also, if he ever gets that new battery and tries it, he'll blow the fuse straight-out.

The video is right there, plain as day in the thread....

I see he's plugging it into either a conversion van or SUV there. Many of them have "Utility" plugs instead of cigarette lighters, the difference being the "utility" ones generally have higher amp fuses (30A - 50A).
HOWEVER, the stock battery for that bike is listed at 120 Cold Cranking Amps.
*HOWEVER* there's no way the starter motor on the bike pulls that much. I can't find info on what it DOES pull, though. The service manual shows that there's no fuse in between the battery and the starter, so I can't use that as a guage.
So, if this is NOT faked, it's because the starter motor just pulls <50A (possibly less than 15A). The old, still conencted battery may also be aiding by donating what little power it has to offer.
Also, he must have wired that AC cable right to the contact points inside the connect, as there's no way the 24g wire that's normally in there could handle that without melting.
