Default EIN

My friend had his GS500 stolen. He has the VIN, but not the EIN # recorded. Can he contact suzuki to get the EIN? Is the EIN traceable to the VIN? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, that sucks big time, sorry to hear about that. That **** pisses me off! I'm not sure, but isn't the EIN the same number as the VIN? If not, it may be on a copy of his title for the bike...maybe.
How did it get stolen?

Default RE: EIN

It got stolen off of his driveway overnight, he doesn't have a garage, nor did he lock it up in any way. Kinda asking for it. There is a lein on the bike, so I guess he would have to call his leinholder to see if the # is on the title or if it's registered in any way. I think Harley's have the same VIN and EIN, but I think sportbikes have different #'s.
