Default EBAY Fairings?

Hey all

Has anyone dealt with the aftermarket cbr600rr fairings that are on ebay? They are entire bike replacements that are either various team issue replicas or alternate color options. They range from 600-800 bucks and are usually 'buy me now' available. There is one that looks so killer to me, but was hesitant to get something like that- I guess the possibility of crap plastic (nothing fitting right) tells me to save the money.

Thanks for the input

I have asked a similar question and I was basically told that Acumarts is the one to go with. It is a thinner material and it doesn't usually have the OEM fit (some modifications may be needed), but fo the price, it seems to be worth it. Acumarts seemed to have the best reviews of all of the eBay options.

Pay attention to the shipping charges. They are being shipped from overseas andwill take some time to get here, so don't be in to much of a hurry.

If you buy a set, let us know how the fit and finish is and what you thought of it!

I have not personally ordered any of those but a buddy of mine did for his R6 and was seriously disapointed. "Not an OEM fit" is a huge understatement. We spent about 6-7 hours messing around with his plastics, coveringmisplaced holes, drillin the ones, trimming, and having to create a place in his tail section so he could mount his break light. It turned out to be a MUCH larger chore than expected. Maybe yours will be alot better but figured Id toss out the warning with the experience I had with ebay full set plastics. Good luck to ya if you get them.
