Default Dropped it and need some paintwork advice.

I stupidly dropped my black 2001 CBR600F4i the other day whilst trying to put it on its centre stand.

Luckily, there was no major damage and it remains rideable. Only thing that actually looked like it made contact with the floor is the lower fairing panel on the right hand side.

Scratched up quite badly. As well as the decals.

Is it worth buffing it out? Buying new decals? Or just replacing the panel?

Which leads me onto my next question. Do honda supply lower fairing panels complete with decals, if for example ebay dont have any?

Pics would help, but I say buff it out and find some stickers. You can replace it but why, it ain't broke. And yes you can get it from the stealership, the exact color you need...for like 500 bucks, for one fairing.

Depending on the damage, many times most of the damage happens to the decals. If you can peel them off, buff the scratches as best you can in the visible painted areas, then put new factory decals back on, you may be able to hide a lot of it. Go to a place like Ron Ayers to figure out what decals you'd need for your bike and you can price it out too.

Yes, when you buy a new Factory fairing, it comes complete with paint and decals just like your bike. Perfect matches every time.
