Default DRIFTING RPM's

I put a two brothers slip on, on my 06 CBR 1000. Evere since there has been a slight rpm drifting, what causes this it seems more noticeable now. I have heard there is no power commander or re-map required on slip ons is this true, has anyone else run into this?

Can you explain in more detain what you mean by Drifting RPM's ? Do you mean that your RPM's are changing without the speed of the bike changing proportionally ?

If by drifting you mean That the revs take there time to go down when you rev. Then it means your running a lean mix and more air than gas is going in yoru engine

Are you describing clutch slippage? Changed your oil lately?

If you are reffering to how the idle rpms go up and down slightly. Then you may just need adjust your idle a little. The aftermarket exhaust has a different harmonic pulse than the factory one. It may just be at the rpm that it fluctuates a lot. go up or down 100 rpm and it will more than likley resolve the issue.

I sure am glad its not how the thread title read. I thought for sure it was someone asking what rpm they drift their bike at......

well yea, when at idle or slowing to idle you can hear a pulsing almost like the bike has a sort of camming sound, an uneven idle i guess is what i am saying. It never did this before the slip on.
