I think this question was asked once before but I did not get a useful answer.
I have an 01 F4i which I had cut 4 inches off the micron exhaust it had. the bike runs ok but I notice at a stop when I give it a few quick revs or launch off a stop it has a small bog to it, just doesn't want to respond as quick as it should. Someone told me I need to download all the maps for my power commander and load each one to see what gives it the best feel and response, also said the right tuning will make the new cut pipe sound better when the bike knows what to run it at.

The commander on my bike is one of the older ones and does not have USB, it's one of the plug adapter type so where can I find that cord and how do you all download maps and load them, etc. anyone with advice just chime in, I'm going to be out riding soon and everythings clean and maintained to go.

PS. he said when changing the maps I should put new spark plugs in and do a valve adjustment ( 12k miles on the bike and parts ) so it runs at its peak potential?
