Default Does new ignition cylinder need to be programmed to ecu?

I have U.S. 2007 cbr600rr and lost the only key, I am now going to replace the entire ignition cylinder but does the new cylinder need to be programmed to the ecu?

According to post 5 & 6 of this thread :-

you will need to replace the ecu and lockset (or, possibly, viginise the ecu).
