Post Does Honda have this feature?

So after searching the deep interwebs I have not been able to find where Honda has this feature. In the '07+ Yamaha's there is a Diagnostic setting to where it shuts the spark and fuel off but leaves the starter motor on to turn the motor. I figure it would be for a compression test but some use it to drain the "left over 300 milliliters" of old oil out.

1. Remove your drain plug and drain all the oil. You may remove the oil fill cap.

2. Once oil has completely drained, screw your oil fill cap back on. DO NOT put your drain plug back on.

3. Remove your oil filter.

4. Use aluminum foil to create a shield for the exhaust system so the oil coming out of the oil filter port wont splash all over your nice expensive exhaust.
LIKE SO:

5. Once you have your foil shield in place and drain pan under the drain port and oil filter port…proceed to next step.
IMPORTANT NOTE: MAKE SURE YOU SCREW YOUR OIL FILL CAP BACK ON AND YOUR DIPSTICK

6.PRESS and HOLD the SELECT and RESET buttons….as you PRESS AND HOLD BOTH buttons…turn the key to the ON position (where the needles do their dance and speedo lights up)
7. Keep both buttons PRESSED until you see this “dIAG”

8:Once you see those first letters, RELEASE the SELECT and RESET buttons….then PRESS AND HOLD THEM AGAIN until you see this “d0I: 15”

9. Once you see “d0I: 15” release the SELECT and RESET buttons and then PRESS AND HOLD the START button. Hold the START button until you don’t see any oil draining from the oil filter port and drain port.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
This “Diagnostic” mode disables the ignition and fuel pump systems but leaves the starter motor on so it can crank the engine and pump the “left” over oil out.

10. Once you have done this, turn the key to the off position and do everything else as you normally wood. Screw the drain plug back in and install your new oil filter. Then fill her up with 2.75QTS, at least that’s what my 2012 takes…double check your year bike.
Now I know that you can put the bike on the rear stand, put it in gear and get the same result by hand-turning the wheel. I'm just curious if Honda, or any other "Jap Bike" has this feature. It would be a big selling point for Yamaha if no one else does, because there are a lot of other things the Diagnostic mode features: lean angle...to check the history and see if its been tipped over; throttle position...to see if the throttle bodies are opening all the way or not, to name a few.

Any of you Gurus have any insight?

Not that i personally know of, but seems pretty pointless and alot of buttons to push when like you said, all it takes is a wheel stand. as for the other extras, if you know what your doing you can easily just check those things, and if you dont know what your doing, chances are you should be taking it to some one who does.
