If anyone is interested I have an instructional sheet to installing spools in your swing arm. The instruction are for a 929, but it will give you an idea.

You can check out handy stands too. I'm getting them, their only $100 + shipping for the front and rear stand. Just something else to look at, but I like the look of them.

Hey about those stands are they good stands, or is it you get what you pay for? Also what's a good price for a stand, I'm looking to get one so I can move the bike around.

you should be able to make some stands for your bike for pretty cheap without welding if you can get access to a pipe bender. you could bend the pipe to the right design and then just mount wheels and brackets by drilling some holes and using some bolts. let me know if you want me to send you some detailed pictures of my brothers stand that he bought for his YZF600R.

Oh, and, i've got a fully digital lathe and fully digital Mill as well
*shakes fist in envy*
hey show me some pics on how to make stands for my 1000rr? I would like a better view before i try to make one myself......check your pm.....

I haven't ordered them yet, but I haven't heard anything bad about them yet. They look alot better than some of the stands that I have found, but I'll let you know when I get them. I ordered a cheap rear stand off of ebay for now, I got it for $45 shipped. I'm just going to use it for an extra after I get the handy stands since I always seem to have 2 or more bikes in my garage.
