My steering stem was bent so I bought a triple clamp off ebay. it looks a lot different than mine. When I first saw it I just figured the bottom part wasn't painted. When it came it is a lot different. The bottom is about 2 inches think. Whereas the bottom of my old one is about as think as the top clamp? has anyone seen this? Is it for an F4I? The top one is what my original looks like the bottom is from ebay.

Nah - the F3 doesn't have that Honda wing stamped onto the clamp. Neither did the F4's. Looks like an F4i but that first pic is about the worst pitcure ever!

 

my F4 has the wings in the upper triples.

 

Do they - I was trying to remember. Never did much to that bike - ran great!

 

Well, it definitely isn't for an F4i. The top clamp is but the bottom isn't. The bottom's holes are the wrong diameter too. Took it by a local parts shop and they weren't sure but said it was from a '90s or maybe 80s bike. Thankfully, the guy that sold it to me cooperating. Thanks for taking a look.

 

I agree with HAVOC, the bottom clamp appears it to be for an F3.
