Default Woops...accidently sent the wrong part -cbr 900 and f3 shock?

Quick question:
Backround
Well I accidently sent a cbr 900 96' rear shock absorber to a guy in boston (placed not actual to conceal identity) that bought and was suppose to get a cbr 600 f3 rear shockshock.
Question
Will a 96' cbr 900 rear shock work without a major problem on a cbr 600 f3?

I don't know but it seems like the only difference would really be the length of the line going to the resiovior thing

Just contact the buy, explain the mistake and offer to knock a little off the sell price + cover shipping back.

Everyone makes mistakes. Good sellers correct theirs

I'm sure the guy will be cool about if u contact him and fix the error. No clue about the shock bolting up but I was assume it's probably different.
