Dirt on exhaust..Any suggestions?
ok well took the bike out today becuz it was nice.well to get my bike out i gotta go threw my yard so the bike got alil muddy.well the mudd actualy cooked its self onto my exhaust.it doesnt seem to be coming off easily and the stuff that is coming off.its leaving like white little specs all over..any idea's on how to get the cooked mudd spot off the exhaust and how to remove them specs?..i used hott soapy water and carb cleaner..nothing really worked
what is the exhaust made out of? Is it stainless, carbon fiber... or is it painted?
Or are talking about the header pipe?
if its stainless or titanium, a good chrome polish should remove the spots.

yea its stainless..i was gonna try the chrome polish..But the dirt thats on there now its like Burnt on?thought maybe someone may have a good cleaning method to get this off?
I use an old retired green and yellow common kitchen sponge/scrubber with either goof-off, lighter-fluid or wd-40 to lightly scrub off road grime/gunk on my Arrow exhaust. After that, I wipe clean with a hot damp rag to get rid of the stuff I used to clean it in the first place.
