Default datatool digigear

Hi all, please could someone help me out?
I want to install a datatool digigear on my 2004 f4i but it says I need both a digital speedometers (which I have) and digital Rev counter (which I do not), there is an addition you can get for cable speedometers but nothing for Rev counter... I know people have them on the same bike so can I install it? Is it badly worded and I've got wrong impression?
Please help
Thank you all...

so what you're trying to say is.. in order to install this thing you need a digital tachometer but you don't know where to get one?

That just means that the speedometer and tachometer need to come from electronic signals as opposed to mechanical cables. Your bike has both. You should be good to go. The fact that your tachometer gauge is analog doesn't mean it's not electronic.

Thankyou for your comments...

Yes you are correct, datatool manual is not that useful for a newbie, i got a call from a friend yesterday who said the same...hes also coming to fit it properly hard wired into the bike, years ago i dismantled and rebuilt several bikes and every needle style speedo or rev counter had a cable with a square ended rod inside that turned it...
the speedo is so obviously digital and i guessed wrong with the rev counter...Duh!
