Default dash doesn’t turn on but everything else works

04 honda cbr 600rr
I just got my bike and was fully taking it apart and I took off my rear fairing and disconnected my tail light. Everything functioned like normal until the wires fell out of this plastic piece that connects into the bike to give the twilight power. So I connected all 3 wires and put it back in and now the interface doesn’t light up or turn on. Oddly it still indicates that my brights are turned on but nothing else. No neutral, no speedometer, no gas. Nothing. Please help!!

Disconnect all 3 taillight wires. Does dash work now?
Most likely you've blown fuse from hot-wiring taillight across.
Pull and measure all fuses. I'd be trillionaire if I had penny for every time I heard, "Fuse looks OK!", but actually didn't conduct any electricity at all.

Then get proper factory OEM replacement connectors to repair harness and taillight.

Basically you want to restore configuration back to when everything was working.

I have a 2013 Center SE. I had a go at beginning it earlier today and it wouldn't turn over. I used a convenient battery charger on it, and after a great deal of endeavoring, it at last fired up.
