Default cracked case

my masterlink broke the chain wadded up and broke some of the case of there are two nipple casting`s that hold the water pump to the side of the block the upper one has a crack in it and now i have an oil leak from the water pump seal going into the block .so my question is am i f***** or can this be welded or am i looking for a new block!
sorry i am talking about a 92 cbr600 f2

my camra died but the upper piece of case around the front sprocket and the area in front of that where the water pump mounts is the problem area thanks for any info in advance

That doesnt sound good. You may have to pull the water pump off and inspect the area carefully. My concern would be if the crack extends into the bearing race for the transmission output shaft. I had to ****-cana yamaha engine for a crack in that area. If you can get your camera working pics are worth a thousand words.

Try some JB weld not the best fix but its cheap and will work for you till you get the funds.
