Default Could this be gas??

So i'm on my daily commute to work and we have a long straight road so i go wide open throttle. As i get to about 7 or 8k the bike starts to do something it hasn't done before. It pulls at me. Like a half second it gains power then looses it then gains it. Its weird and i don't know what is causing it. I just filled up with fuel the other day.. 92 octane. It isn't a station that i regularly go to so i thought this might be causing it? Any opinions? Thanks

Could be bad fuel, but that sort of thing also happens when at idle (hunts) up & down.
There are a few things that can cause this, but I 1st noticed this sort of thing on my bike & wondered WTF was happening, turned out to be a good cross wind can upset the Direct Air intake flow & make the revs drop a bit at that RPM.

it is varying at the idle speed also.. not much tho. It has always been a little variant at idle anyways. I'll go through this tank and fill up at shell instead next time. I think i might be due to change the air filter too so if it continues i'll look at that i guess. Its just weird cuz it has never done that. I dont remember any wind but it was very humid.
