Default clutch noise???

I just bought a 1999 cbr 900rr. Its a project bike and needs some work. Whenever the bikes running there is a knocking noise comming from the bottom end(i think the clutch) it does it right when you hit the gas before the engine even revs it knocks, but if you pull in the clutch it stops. Does anyone know whats wrong??? I pulled the clutch apart and didnt see ne thing wrong. Does anyone know whats going on??? Plz help guys!

I'd just be guessing but maybe your clutch basket is loose.... Or it could just be that you are a vag!

On my old 98 600F3 it made the same noise. It wasnt really loud, but it was there until you pulled in the clutch. I was told by the factory its normal and I never had an issue with it. I really dont know if its normal for a 900 to make the same noise or not.
