Cleaning out fork internals?
I'm in the process of replacing fork seals and bushings.
After draining all the oil I've noticed a decent amount of residue on the walls and in the crevices. What can I use to rinse all the parts that will not destroy the o-rings, seals and will not leave a residue?

I just used hot water, full strength dawn, and a large soft bristled brush for nooks and crannies. I would completely disassemnle the forks though, i've had problems getting water in the damper cartridges so just clean those in fresh fork oil. When the upper and lower fork tubes are clean leave them to air dry or use a blowdryer to blow out/dry up any remaining water and reassemble.
I use brake cleaner to clean the inside of the forks. It will get rid of residue and it's very volatile so it dries right away. I get a shop towel and stuff it down the tube to wipe stuff away.
