Default cleaning brake bleeder system

Hi guys, I have a mityvac brake bleed hand pump and the kit comes with several tubes for bleeding your brakes. I was told in the instruction manual to clean the tubes thoroughly after every use but every time I rinse them out with water it takes days for the water to evaporate and I'm left with a residue that I don't really want in my brakes.

Any advice on maybe another solvent to use that won't mess up my brakes if some of it gets in my brake system?

Isopropyl alchol is a good solvent for brakes/parts. It is non-residue, low-flash point,
cheap and readily available (drug-store). It also will "lock" water, removing it from the
system/surfaces.

The system I have says to use clean brake fluid I think.

Cool, in that case, if I run fresh fluid through it I probably won't worry about it since it's designed to handle brake fluid anyway. I also realized that once brake fluid leaves the bleed valve on my caliper it won't reenter the system unless I mess up and push the pressure release valve on my hand pump or something. The idea is that you close the bleed valve nut every time you're about to release the vacuum you've created with the hand pump, so it should all stay in the tube outside of the brake system.

In the interest of keeping my tools clean, though, and since I should have some around the house anyway, I'll grab some rubbing alcohol next time I hit the drug store. I need some deodorant anyway
