Default Check oil

Hi everyone, I'm new here . . . . I just got a '01 CBR600 F4i . . . my question is when you check the oil through the window do you measure when the bike is up-right or when tilted on kickstand? It's full when upright but empty when on kickstand. Trying to download the service manual now too. Thanks

ORIGINAL: Anubis

Upright,

Yes upright. You may want to invest in a stand to help out with this. Also just nice to have.

I assume things all the time, usually just makes an *** out of myself and others. And I love to see women riders....they keep the sport much more interesting. Any more questions just shoot....and don't mind the guys tripping over themselves to give you answers . The board is full of knowledgable people, and a few of us myself included that are followed around by bad luck, so there is plenty of experience from previous problems as well. The F4i is a beautiful bike, enjoy it.

Peace
Brendon
