Default Charging issues

I have an 02 f4i. I have gone through many voltge regulators. I have heard you can use regulators from other bikes that are supposed to be better. From what bikes would this work,if it does? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Really? Bought from where? Honda OEM or some aftermarket replacement? The Honda OEM's run from $125~$150, so if you're paying $35 or some such, you're NOT getting a Honda part.

If you bought them from Honda, they were OEM. If not, then they probably weren't. And I've heard mixed stories about Rick's R/R's.

If you're not adverse to a bit of rewiring, a Shindengen FH020AA is a great alternative: Roadstercycle

Many Honda's have limited room for mounting, so check dimensions or look for alternative mounting locations.
