Revised Honda R/R vs OEM SH one pic
I figure that this could help people as they look to purchase the revised Honda regulator rectifier...
There are several cheap knockoffs that look like the Honda finned one, but this is the real one.. I just replaced mine, as it had the old "SH633" model on it that is prone to failure..
"New Revised" OEM Honda 31600-MV4-010 R/R vs. "Old" OEM Honda original 633-12 R/R
Here are some "Non Honda" knock-offs.. you can see how similar they look:
I hope this helps someone..

Nice thought, appreciate the research!
I went with the electrosport generic install one, myself.
It is massive, has huge vanes and was easy to install.
I just cut off the old harness plug and soldered on female
bayonet-connectors with heat-shrink tubing to insulate.
The cheap plastic insulators that come on them suck
and won't let you solder as well.
