Default Changing clutch need help

I am trying to change a clutch in my F3 and I am having some problems. I bought a chisel to unstake the nut that holds the nut to the crankshaft. However it appears to have just shoved the staked part down instead of instaking it.

I am going to grind it down and make it sharper to hopefully push it outward. Once I do this what is the best way to get the bolt loose? How much force is going to be on this bolt? I really need to change the clutch because its completely dead. Just having issues getting to the discs.

All MC engines with clutch and engine that share a single case is a Wet system. The F3 is one such clutch.

I'm just having issues breaking that stupid nut loose. One I get that it will be easy. I did buy a battery powered Impact today. 200ft/lbs. should take care of it.

Personally, being a tire tech, I've found that you can actually apply a lot more force by hand than with an impact gun. There's been many lugnuts that our impact guns would simply not break free(because other shops over tightened them)but were able to have been broken free by hand with a breaker bar(18" long). If you add an extension to the breaker bar, there's no telling how much force you can apply.

I have been a tire tech myself. I'd say you can apply more force by hand but impacts are definitely deliver quicker bursts of torque. This will help since everything isn't completely still. Even with it in gear and the rear brake on it still moves somewhat. Having quick power may break it loose.

It took me all of 5 minutes to change with that impact I have. Made things so much easier.
