^every brand new chain I have seen comes covered in that white lube.

haha, your bikes are so much cleaner then my bike has ever been.

i use motul chain cleaner, and silkolene chain lube.

the motul works well and its not harmful to the bushings inside the chain like some solvents can be.

the silkolene is liquid went it comes out of the can, but thickens up when it drys (delayed viscosity) and is sticky as hell, its not supposed to fling but i think i put too much on cause i get it everywhere, the whole underside of my tail is splattered with it.
