Default Maintenance Questions

I tried searching but didn't get all the answers to my questions.

I want to do maintenance on bike but I wanted to see if there are any write-ups on the following questions.
First I want to change my oil and filter. Oil is easy but removing the radiator for the filter seems tricky. Pics would help. I also read that K&N isn't a good choice. Recommendations? Second, I want to change my air filter. Read you have to remove or move the gas tank for this and K&N is recommended for this. Third, spark plugs. Also read its under the air box. NGK seem to be what people recommend. Any info on install tips, links or brands would be greatly appreciated. Also where can I buy these parts? I'm located in the San Fernando Valley in the city of Los Angeles. I have an 01 F4i. My mechanic skills are moderate, I do all the upgrades on my car (exhaust, plugs, etc)

Thanks in advance guys/gals.

PS- Suggestions on front blinkers would also be greatly appreciated. I installed some but they melted.

The oil filter is up front between the headers in front of the radiator. Easy to do. The air filter is located in the air box under the tank. If you can do this stuff on a car the bike is just as easy.

Thanks for the info guys. I just bought a Fram oil filter and Castrol R4 synthetic oil. Will try it out tomorrow morning. Still looking for a place that carries K&N air filters.

Chamuko- Thanks for the offer.

Paintedblue- I totally forgot about the blinker fluid. That explains everything. [sm=smiley36.gif]
