Default CBR600RR 08 Brake Lever Issue

Hi there, I’m wondering if anybody can help me with a brake lever issue I’m having. I have a 2008 RR, I’ve ordered two sets of levers, one being ASV and the other Bad Dog, now the clutch lever fits fine on both but the brake lever will not fit on either brand. I put the pin and rubber boot on the new lever and slide it into position but it won’t go in far enough for the bolt to go in, no matter how much I force it in. I’m wondering whether the master cylinder is different to what should be on there?

Appreciate any advice.

hmm, difficult to say honestly. The 600RR master cylinders are usually not on the list of parts to upgrade. Try grease to slide it in?
