Default CBR600F2 clutch help?!

I replaced my clutch today on my 93 cbr f2. All wen t well but when I went to put it in gear, it DID go in gear but when I let out the clutch nothing happened I went no where. Perhaps clutch springs too tight?? This happen to anyone else?

did you tighten everything to spec and did you put everything back in correctly?

Well i didnt use my torque wrench because I dont now what specs to tighten the springs to. But I got it the closest to the original position as I could, then figured i could adjust if need be. Do you think the clutch cable might just be too tight or loose or something?

definitely get a service manual and get everything torqued to spec!
but even if your clutch was too tight you should have gotten some reaction out of it. but just to me sure make sure the lever has about 3/8" of play in it while its let out.

The clutch spring nut torque figure is 12nm according to my Haynes manual. I have the same year and bike as you have so I go by the Haynes manual for almost everything. Might be worth buying one as all the information for your engine and clutch is in there as well as the rest of the bike. As stated, leave slack of around 3/8 of an inch at the lever, but take most of the slack out at the clutch actuating lever first.

Does your clutch lever have any play in it at all ?
